កន្លាស់និមិត្តរូបកម្ពុជាត្រូវបានរចនាឡើងជាពិសេស ដោយយោងទៅតាមព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជាបានកំណត់យក សត្វ និងរុក្ខជាតិ សរុបចំនួន៧ប្រភេទ រួមមាន គោព្រៃ សត្វត្រយ៉ង សត្វអណ្ដើកហ្លួង ត្រីគល់រាំង ដើមត្នោត ផ្ការំដួល ចេកពងមាន់ ដែលជានិមិត្តរូបនៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ ការកំណត់យកមិត្តរូបទាំងនេះ អាចជាផ្នែកមួយជួយលើកតម្កើងនូវតម្លៃមរតធម្មជាតិ មោទនភាពជាតិ ក្នុងនាមជារបស់ខ្មែរ។
