Lotus flower (ផ្កាឈូក)

ផ្កាឈូកគឺជាផ្កាមួយដ៏សំខាន់ និងមានអត្ថន័យនៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ វាតំណាងឲ្យភាពបរិសុទ្ធ សន្តិភាព និងការត្រាស់ដឹង ជាពិសេសក្នុងព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។ ផ្កាឈូកតែងតែត្រូវបានគេឃើញនៅតាមវត្តអារាម វត្តអារាម និងពិធីសាសនា ជាកន្លែងដែលមនុស្សយកវាទៅថ្វាយព្រះពុទ្ធ។ ការប្រើប្រាស់ដើមផ្កាឈូកក្នុងជីវិតប្រចាំថ្ងៃដូចជា ផ្កា គ្រាប់ និងឬសជាដើម អាចប្រើសម្រាប់អាហារ គ្រឿងតុបតែង និងឱសថបុរាណ។

ផ្កាឈូកគឺជានិមិត្តរូបវប្បធម៌ដ៏រឹងមាំមួយដែលដុះចេញពីភក់ តំណាងឲ្យសម្រស់ដែលងើបឡើងពីការលំបាក។

Lotus is one of important and meaningful flower in Cambodia. It symbolizes purity, peace, and enlightenment, especially in Buddhism. Lotus flowers are often seen in pagodas, temples, and religious ceremonies, where people offer them to Buddha. Cambodians also use lotus plants in daily life—the flowers, seeds, and roots can be used for food, decoration, and traditional medicine.

The lotus is a strong cultural symbol that represents beauty rising from difficulty.
